Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use this website or contact The Gap Same Day Hot Water through it. If you keep using the site, you agree to them.

Using This Website

You may browse the site and share its pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't copy its text or images for another website, interfere with how it runs, or use the enquiry form to send spam.

Information on This Site

The hot water information here is general guidance about common systems and faults. Every home is different, so it isn't a substitute for a licensed plumber looking at your system. We keep the content up to date as best we can, but we can't promise every detail suits your situation.

Quotes, Bookings and Payment

Nothing on this site is an offer to do a particular job at a particular price. Prices are set by the quote we give you after looking at the system, and work only starts once you have agreed to it. Payment terms are set out on your quote or invoice.

Promotions and Service Promises

Promotions and service promises mentioned on this site apply under the terms we give you when you book. Manufacturer warranties on hot water systems and parts are provided by the maker under their own terms. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Licensed Work

Plumbing and gas work is carried out by licensed tradespeople, as Queensland law requires. Licence details appear on this site where the law asks for them.

Our Responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss that comes from relying on the general information on this site or from the site being briefly unavailable. Our responsibility for work we carry out is set out in your quote and under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, and any dispute will be heard in the courts of Queensland.
